Famous Psychics John Edward and Doreen Virtue

Famous Psychics
John Edward
John Edward is known for his television show called Crossing Over in which he passes on accurate, detailed messages from deceased souls to their family members. He has also written a number of books, including an autobiography.

Born and raised on Long Island, NY, John exhibited psychic abilities from an extremely early age, and was deemed "special" by many in his family. The fact that he would uncannily know family history and events that took place prior to his birth solidified that fact. Because no fuss was made over these early experiences, he maintained as normal a childhood as possible.

Since Psychic Phenomena was so accepted by his family, it was easy for his abilities to flourish. John embarked on developing his own abilities after an encounter with famed psychic Lydia Clar. Lydia made him aware of his abilities and told him his life’s work would be teaching people about it.

That mission has been channeled into his work as a medium which enables him to bring comfort and hope to people by reuniting them with those who they loved, lost...and crossed over. John resides in Long Island, New York, with his wife Sandra their soon to be 3 year old son Justin and their two Bichon Frises, Jolie and Roxie.

Doreen Virtue

Doreen Virtue PhD is a prolific New Age author with many books, products and workshops on angels and angel-oriented therapy. She has produced several oracle card sets, including ones focused on angels, fairies, goddesses, and dolphins. These oracle cards differ from traditional Tarot in that each card has an angel depiction instead of the four suits of the Tarot.

With her Angel oracle cards, each card represents a positive thought or belief; there are no negative cards. She has also written books on the Indigo Children idea, as well as on the Crystal Children idea.

Before she became involved in metaphysics, she was the founder and former director of WomanKind Psychiatric Hospital at Cumberland Hall Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, and she served as an administrator at Woodside Women’s Hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area. Both all-women psychiatric hospitals specialized in treating women's psychological issues. She also directed three outpatient psychiatric centers, including an adolescent drug & alcohol abuse center.

She publishes a large number of books and audio tapes through Hay House publishers, one of the largest metaphysical publishing houses created by author Louise Hay. Virtue's healing work is similar to that of others such as Esther Hicks and Ken Page, both of whom she has spoken highly of.
